Within the European LIFE CLIVUT Project, free meetings open to all dedicated to the management and monitoring of urban greenery

Initiatives within the European LIFE CLIVUT Project continue. Starting Sept. 30, five free meetings open to all, dedicated to the management and monitoring of urban green, both public and private, and to discover the Treedb Web App. The meetings will be held at five different associations in the city and will last about two hours, with a theoretical and a practical part. During the theoretical part, they will discuss green management and monitoring by referring to the guidelines of the Urban Green Strategy for Climate Purposes of the City of Bologna, defined last spring through a public consultation.

The practical part, on the other hand, will be devoted to illustrating the potential and functions of the Treedb Web App designed by CLIVUT, which is useful for the census and monitoring of trees. With the app, it is possible to know how much C02 different types of trees can store and how much PM10 they can absorb in 30 years. Upcoming dates

• Friday, September 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the G.Costa Cultural Recreational Social Center, Via Azzo Gardino 48, with the GROWUP association.

• Saturday, Oct. 1 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the municipal urban gardens at Via Saragozza 142, managed by the Casa di Quartiere August 2, 1980 (in case of rain, the event will be held at Via Filippo Turati 98, at the Casa di Quartiere headquarters).
